• Shootable condition rifles in 30-30, 30-06, 308, 270, etc are always welcome.  Doesn't have to be a safe queen to be useful to someone else.
• Will also buy NFA items.  Short Barrel Rifle or Shotgun

If you are ready to sell your firearm and want to get the most money, consider a consignment sale.  Your Firearms will be sold locally, on line or both depending on your selections.  You get the sold price minus my fee's and whatever it takes to sell your item.  A minimum fee of $50 will be charged for rifles and $35 for handguns regardless of the sales price.  This is a great option if you have a collection or estate pieces you are trying to liquidate. AR style handguns are considered rifles due to size for storage).

Gunbroker charges 6% on the first $325 and 4% on the remainder of the final value, Plus listing fee's for optional services.  (Subject to change without notice)

If you've decided to sell your firearm to a third party, it is recommend that you use a FFL to perform a background check on the buyer to ensure they are not a prohibited Person.  All FFL's are required to use the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) for this purpose.

The Gun Control Act (GCA), codified at 18 U.S.C. § 922(g), makes it unlawful for certain categories of persons to ship, transport, receive, or possess firearms or ammunition, to include any person:

• convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year;
• who is a fugitive from justice;
• who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance (as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act, codified at 21 U.S.C. § 802);
• who has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution;
• who is an illegal alien;
• who has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions;
• who has renounced his or her United States citizenship;
• who is subject to a court order restraining the person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of the intimate partner; or
• who has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

All potential customers, I will not transfer a firearm to anyone who does not receive a Proceed response from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) .  if a delayed response is received from NICS the Firearm will remain in the possession of Forty Two Guns until such time as a proceed response is received.
